Unfortunately Kade was sick the very first morning we got there, with that nasty virus that is going around. We spent the first 3.5 days in the house taking care of him. He finally was ready Wednesday (our last day!) to go out for a car ride and pick mushrooms. We drove up to Pine River, planted flowers beside Great Grandma Kay's grave, drove by the Urbanowski's garage (a relative on Karlynn's side of the family, not sure who, but that's where part of our family originates from)
And then stopped beside the country road to look for mushrooms and found a whopping 7 Morels LOL! Kade had a good time picking them, but he was still sick (he looks so pale in the pictures) so 7 was enough to entertain him then back to the car. What a good little Ukranian boy tho.

We then headed to see Grandma at the hospital, and we had to bring her out into the courtyard so we didn't spread our germs all around. Karlynn was sick with a horrible cold so she had to sit far far away, and Kade had to as well. Not fun when you can't give Great Nana hugs, but he was so good about it. At least we got well enough to go for one visit, I am sure it made her day to see the kids.

We then came home to Calgary with Auntie, where Ivy proceeded to throw up on Auntie Karami's couch. So Nana and Papa drove Karlynn and the kids home that afternoon.
We missed Auntie Kandice's big 30th birthday party :( with the kids sick, so again Happy Birthday to Auntie Kandice, wish we could have been there. Hopefully we will be well enough to see you next weekend, but if not, George Strait is coming up!weehoo!
We spent the whole trip sick, so there are hardly any pictures of anything. Here's a couple of Ivy in her Jolly Jumper, boy she's liking that! Lordy, look at that wild hair tho! It's insane.

Oh, and so sorry to Auntie Karami who not only caught a cold, but now is sick with the same stomach virus the kids have. Poor Auntie has a week off work (yes, she works for McKee Homes now, the lucky girl!) and gets 7 mushrooms and 2 viruses and a couch that was puked on. That just doesn't seem right....
