Here's a picture of me when I was just a couple weeks old, Auntie Karami took it and Mom just found it in her files. I haven't stopped smiling since......

And here I am now at 6 months old. At my last doctors visit I weighed 17 lbs, 10 3/4 oz (they sure are specific on those cards) and 25 3/4 inches tall. I got my first set of shots just after I was five months old. My hair is long enough for a ponytail and Mommy has to clip it out of my eyes. I have a small bald patch that looks like a combover on the back of my head.
I won't take a bottle from anyone and will scream bloody murder if you try. Oh yes, I will. The pictures may show only goodness and light, but I can do headspins when I want. Only milk straight from the tap will do. However, I trade this off by sleeping most of the night, which mom is eternally grateful for. She wakes me up at 10 to feed me, and I sleep until the morning. Mostly ;) I sleep much better than big brother did, I block out mom's snoring better I guess. I also love sleeping next to mom, I wake up, know she's there, and go right back to sleep. However, there's no way anyone but Mommy is putting me to sleep either. Daddy can put Kade to sleep, I have to have my mom. Lucky woman. Mommy thinks I am getting teeth since I am up very late lately and napping 2-3 times during the day, I am a very tired girl.
I still like to be held all the time and figure its my God given right, just like when I was little. Mommy and Daddy are more than happy to comply with love and hugs. I love my sling, but Mommy really needs to update it with a newer, better model. As you can see I am sitting all by myself and already leaning forward to try and reach toys and get places, but Mommy's going to glue my shorts to the floor because she's not ready for two mobile kids.
I haven't started any food yet, and have no real interest. I'm going to wait a while since my many rolls attest that I must drink pure whipping cream when I nurse and don't need solids for a while yet.I like tv FAR too much and will sit and watch Days of Our Lives with mommy while sitting on her lap. Mommy now has to turn me around and give me toys or I will watch Bo and Hope fight about their marriage avidly. Bah on Baby Einstien, gimme soaps.
I have started to be wary of other people, I gave Brett the eye yesterday when he said hello and actually DIDN'T smile at a lady in Walmart today, but leaned into mommy! She was shifty looking anyways....Mommy was absolutely shocked, because I will usually smile at guys, kids, lamposts, dogs, the floor....
And I think I answered most of the questions, what I sleep, eat and what I am doing/learning...so that is me at 6 months!
