Saskatoon Sunday

We wanted to get outside and do something active today, so we packed a lunch and headed out to Hawrelak Park to walk the river valley trails. We got there and discovered that the saskatoons along the river trails were ripe and ready to pick! Kade was in seventh heaven, eating more than he picked of course. He thought it was the coolest thing.
Our spoils, we picked an entire 4 Litre bucket, so we washed them and froze them for healthy snacks.
We had our picnic lunch, Kade is very into having picnics, we also ate supper outside tonight because he wanted a picnic, the concept is quite the novelty lately.
