Walk and Stand

Not much new the past few days, lots of playing in the backyard of course, now that its enclosed. We went for a walk around the lake today with our friends and had a great time! Rain is forecasted for the next few days, so I was really glad to get out and get active with the kids while we can.

We walked around Lake Beaumaris and stopped to let the boys play on the gigantic rocks for a while.
Then we walked over to the YMCA and tried out their indoor playground. Pretty good, needs more mats and some outlet covers!! but I really liked the fact that there was no small toys, just climbers and large ride'em toys. Much cleaner than O'Leary. Now just to nag them about those couple things...

And Ivy standing...she's decided now that she's proficient at crawling and hauling herself up to standing. Peachy. She found the vcr this evening...

And of course, we had to take a picture of Kade leaning on his car ramp as well. With Ivy hitting all these milestones, we have to make sure we pay lots of attention to him as well. So that includes taking pictures of him, doing random things.

So we bought a family pass to the Y, and have been enjoying it. Mike goes every morning to work out in the gym before work, and we went together the other night to work out. We used their babysitting service, so we dropped the kids off for an hour and had a workout date. Worse things we could do, I suppose! Kade starts his first official swimming lesson with Mike tomorrow, so I am sure there will be pictures! We've been swimming as a family before, but this is the first time to go and play games and sing songs. Wonder if Mike realizes he has to sing?
