Calgary Weekend

So tired, so forgive any typing mistakes. The kids weren't the only ones pooped out after our chilly morning at the Calgary Zoo. Brunch was fantastic, I am craving the Eggs Benedict already...mmm...soooo good. Kade was absolutely fascinated by the chocolate fondue fountain (weren't we all tho..!) and enjoyed covering strawberries in chocolate and then of course, digging in.

And since he is too little for chocolate, Jax just snoozed thru brunch........but big sister Jordyn joined the chocolate club.
Ivy's mad that she can't have any, like mother like daughter this one. So after the birthday brunch, we toured the zoo. Its such an amazing zoo, so much to see and touch. Kade loved all these "phones" with information recordings on them, I think he picked up every single one we passed by.

It was a really nice time today, sometimes it gets really surreal tho to get together with everyone and see all these rugrats running or being carried around....when did THAT happen I ask you? Eeeep and Auntie Kandice took up golfing! And now two of us are moved out of the hometown, and Erin and Sheldon are out of province even! And we're celebrating another two 30th birthdays!!! Girls, when did we get so.....middle aged??

I'm going to go look for some more grey hair and go to sleep...nighty night all you fellow cougars-in-training.....
