The Past Few Days...

Holy busy week! Tues morning we were out walking with Amanda, we did the trails in the river valley and then did the more remote muddy trails on the way back. It was soooo nice, that I just had to pause and look and listen for a moment. We were down by a creek in the ravine, surrounded by pine trees, and rarely did we hear traffic. It sounded like a remote highway near a campground.....and we were right smack in the center of Edmonton. I love the trails here, I just wish that I could go on them alone....BUT that's the drawback to the remoteness of them.

Then on Wednesday we went with Becky and the boys to walk the trails at Rundle park and we had a great time! The trek to the old science center is a hell of a walk, I measured it on my map, about 2.3 km, and its mostly uphill to get there.

Kade loves playing ice cream shop with his puppet theatre and Ivy is always right there of course. Today we watched Regan while Brandy and Sean did their house walk-thru, exciting! I can't wait to snoop in their new house LOL.

The kids baked muffins for our midmorning snack and they had SOOO much fun, as you can tell by the thousand watt grins.

They each mashed the bananas on a plate...
And shared nicely mixing everything up.

Soo cute these two!
That's all. Tomorrow is the big grand opening of the Bob the Builder exhibit at the museum. Us hoitey-toitey pass holders get to sneak peek tomorrow, should be fun! Of course, there will be pics.
