Stuck on Big Brother

Poor Kade. Ever since Ivy learned how to crawl, he's had to deal with her sticking to him like glue. She just won't leave him alone. If he's at the train table, so's Ivy, and she has to always be holding on to him as well. She doesn't just play by him, she has to try and crawl on him.

This morning I was taking out the recycling and I heard him shrieking "no no no" and came into the living room to Kade up on the back of the couch just trying to get out of her reach LOL! He's so patient with her, but lordy, she's literally always trying to get at him. Worse than a dog trying to lick your face, but just as annoying!

She must think he's just one big toy we bought for Her Royal Highness Princess Ivy's amusement.

We went to O'Leary playground Tuesday morning with Brandy and Regan, Ivy loooved being able to crawl all over the place and Kade of course had a blast. This is the only picture that really turned out, my camera isn't taking pictures well in places with florescent lighting anymore. She was following Kade and Regan thru the big tunnel, trying to be a big kid.
Today we spent at home, making forts and baking banana/carrot bran muffins, I found the healthiest recipe ever and YUM!! Kade had a blast mashing the bananas up and we both enjoyed the fruits of our labor afterwards.


Ivy's newest pastime is collecting bruises. She discovered how to throw herself from one object to another at my parents house, between their couch and their chair. However, they have carpet. And note I said "throw", she literally throws herself hell bent towards something instead of walking. She has a nice yellow bruise on her right cheek from the book basket here at home. She's in such a hurry to do as big brother is doing she's rather dangerous at times.

And here's where I caught her, luckily or who knows how high she would have reached.She was trying to get the cat. She is SO freaking busy...Kade was much less active than her.
