Sunday Fun

Today was a really nice family day. Mike had the idea of going to Ikea for their dollar breakfast and since I didn't want to cook this morning, I was totally all over that idea! I loved that for $5.30 we all ate a HUGE breakfast. Mmmmm.


We weren't that impressed tho, that they have removed most of the playhouses thru the store, AND they revamped the eating area for kids and it is lame now. We used to be able to spend a whole morning walking and letting Kade play in the store, we hardly spent any time there at all today. Booo hiss! Where's the complaint cards!
Then Mike wanted to go look at showhomes (no, that wasn't a typo, MIKE wanted to look!) so I jumped on his weak moment and off we went. We followed the signs to the Terwillager ones, and bumped right into Tasha who was putting out her open house signs. Hope it went well and you get some offers!

So we played at the playground across from the showhomes. It's a really nice little playground, I need one near our house like it.



So after getting lost in Terwillegar (and finding a nice 600 G house we wanted LOL) we went to look at the Village at Griesbach (where we would LOOOVE to move) and found our dreamhome. Siiigh. We are in love. The main floor is amazing, with a den, a space I would make a library, main floor laundry, huge kitchen..the works. But the best part is upstairs. You walk into one door to the right and into a room with a built in desk on the far side. Then off each side of that room is a kids bedroom. Its called a teen retreat, but I call it a-mom-designed-this-room. Its a must see showhome,that design is so brilliant, you walk into the playroom, and then access each kids room from the playroom. AND it closes with a sliding door, so you can hide the clutter and mess of all 3 areas! I only need 530 G. Time to buy some lotto tickets.

So we came home, ate supper, the kids were exhausted and asleep by 6:45 and Mike's out having a brewsky with Brett and I am all alone in a beautifully quiet house....ahh...time to read...
