The Calgary Zoo

Well our trip to Calgary was fantastic, we had the bestest weekend ever and all on Telus's tab. There sure are some great perks to working there and this weekend was a prime example. We took in the Calgary zoo on Saturday for free, which would have cost us $56 otherwise. And then Sunday everyone went to the Royal Tyrell museum which would have been another, oh, $40 or so. The weather was SO incredible and the animals were all out, the ice cream store was open...we couldn't have had a better time.

The moose that was right up next to the fence, just eating snow and being mooselike.

Auntie Karami and the kids...

A picture of Mike and I, haven't had one of those in a while.
We weren't the only crazy family having ice cream in winter. The zoo has the absolute BEST soft serve I have ever tasted.

Kade's "sprinkled pigs" LOL! I can't even remember the real name, they are now the sprinkled pigs forever.

Goofing around...

Moi.

Kade had a great time posing in front of everything he possibly could.

We took a bunch of pictures inside the butterfly room and plants exhibits, but Ivy's outfit was so reflective the she sorta glows in each picture, very weird. There are hardly any of her that turned out.

I hope that everyone had a great weekend! I will post the pics of the Tyrell as soon as Karami sends them to me, I should go and nag her for them now.
