Friday I put in another flowerbed, with the two kids. That was nothing short of a miracle that I was able to accomplish that, but the kids were soo well behaved, played out in the yard, Kade was my awesome helper boy too. He was shoveling peat into my flowerbeds using his little blue shovel, and then when it came time to clean up, they both helped me. I just sat and watched them pick up all the sod bits and they did a darn fine cleaning it up. Honestly, what kids think is fun! Here, how about a cloth, go wash my floors please.

Then the other day before we went to the playground with Brandy and the girls, they were sooo huggy and squishy and lovey, I grabbed the camera and took pictures. Kade looks SO old in the first picture, I can see what he's going to look like a few years from now. Makes me very wistful just thinking about it. It must be the ballcap.

I took almost no pictures at the playground on Thursday, very weird for me.
Today we went to a kids sale in St Albert, which is always fun, we got the kids a watertable and a small slide for Ivy. Then we cleaned up the backyard more, raked the back and the front (not we, "me" for that one). Mike went out with Brett and we are done for the day now. All this fresh air and exercise is wearing us all out lately, its great!

we had fun at the park with you guys. are you coming to the zoo on wednesday?
He does look so grown up in that photo!!
Totally can't wait until my kids are old enough to do every single chore there is in the house. Cleaning gutters, retiling the bathroom, trimming the trees. Isn't that what kids are for?
Fun stuff..and yes Cori Brodie is actually building a pergola for us the summer :)
