We met Uncle Dan and Auntie Kandice at the Calgary Zoo on Sunday. I wanted to see the Giant Anteater, the only one at a zoo in Canada, but the darn thing was sleeping and wouldn't wake up. It taunted us with glimpses of its huge fan tail and looong face, but wouldn't get up so we could see how big it really was. Next time.

And of course, where there's a train, Kade is right there to ride it.
And that's pretty much it. We drove home today, unpacked, then headed straight out to pick up the necessities. Bedding plants and a few groceries, in that order. Then Kade helped me plant some flowers, we hung the hummingbird feeder up, and now its time for some Wii with Mike. We'd better not have many more adventures like this because I'll just keel over from exhaustion. BUT we had fun across three provinces in 10 days!

hee, we almost went to the Calgary Zoo on Sunday too! We did Heritage Park instead though. If you haven't been there, check it out it's really cool. You'd love the Prince House.

this is so funny... i just read all of your blog so i am all caught up... but the funny part is at the end how you went out to get necessities. i did the same today after our 10 day trip, went out to get bedding plants and groceries! we're tired too, more unpacking to be done tonight. i'll add some disney pics eventually too :)
