We Have It Made in the Shade...

Well, we have two of the things on our summer list (oh, its SO long!)! After searching tons of store, online and in-store, we finally found our gazebo for the summer at Superstore on Friday night.If anyone is needing one, I highly suggest it, its a 10x12 with the mosquito netting, all sides of it zip open (this was a huge one for us, I loathe the ones that have two openings, since its going on the second deck we needed all sides to open) AND its pretty, can't have something unnatractive LOL! Best part? It was $99. Cheapest one I have ever come across. Last year we looked for one too late, and all the cheap ones were sold out. This year, we're a little smarter. Just a wee bit.

So last night Kade helped us set it up, only to realize that it was poorly sewn and we needed a new one. So we packed it all up again, and returned it this morning. And the second one fits, thankfully, because I can't imagine packing it up again.

Ta-da. the finished project. Once the second deck is built (hopefully in the next month here) then we'll attach it permanently. I am so excited to get this freaking yard done already.

Then last night Brett was awesome enough to go to ToysRUs and grab the pool we wanted, it wouldn't fit in the wagon. So he brought it over when he picked up Mike for guys night out, and the kids were SO excited, they played in it,in pj's, all ready for bed (it was like 7:30 at night ) and had a blast.

Then today, we set it up under the tent and the kids got to finally play, its a great pool. Tons of room, a little place for the hose to be a sprinkler, a car track (Kade literally played on the track with his new little Ferrari car for an hour straight.)

And speaking of the Ferrari car, here it is. We've been looking for a while because he looves them (like Papa like Grandson I tell you) and when we went to ToysRUs the other day, we found the one from the Cars movie, as well as the little guys who have all their Ferrari cheering gear on. He hasn't let the car out of his sight or his hands since. If anyone sees one of these, please please pick me up a second one that I can tuck away, because we have looked forever for this car LOL!!! I don't want to think about losing it.
