Legislature Trip and Outdoor Adventures

We are one tired family today..Friday we were out all day, we took the trolley from Old Strathcona over the high level bridge to the Legislature grounds. I hadn't been since a school trip probably about 20 years ago.(that made me feel old just saying that ugh). The fountains are absolutely gorgeous,the foliage fantastic. The trolley made me really nervous on the way there, not so bad the way back. If you look at the picture of Ivy looking out the window you can see how high it is. So we spent the entire day out, then picked Mike up and headed to west ed for shopping. We didn't get home until 6:30.




Then Saturday we wanted out of the city completely, so we went out to the Clifford E.Lee Sanctuary and spent the afternoon there. And we did ALL the trails and eventually threw the kids in the stroller and got some good exercise.







This picture is hilarious, Mike assumed Ivy knew what she was doing,but she was looking thru the telescope with her nose LOL.




We had planned on getting out again today, but its looking really dreary, and honestly, we all slept like the dead from all the walking and fresh air the last two days. And we are still all tired today, judging from the kids general crabby nature this morning !
