The Christmas house on 97th is up and lit! I saw it on the way back from taking Mike to work this morning, then read about it in the newspaper. The man who runs it is taking donations for the Diabetes Assoc, this year in memory of his mom who passed away this fall. So take your donations, OR do what we did and grab their plastic bag and take it home to full up with clothes and toys to donate. Another fantastic way to clean out my clutter AND make the kids incredibly happy, I can't lose. He also has doubled his lights to something like 200 000 this year, its incredibly beautiful.
Ivy was absolutely thrilled this year, she was just shrieking with glee, literally. Yelling out the names of penguins and bears and snowmen...oh my!

I loved this display, so adorable.

Kade has this fascination with nutcrackers, or fancy "soldiers" as I tried to explain to him. He has asked for one for Christmas actually. That's my boy, a Christmas nut like mom.

Santa is there this Wednesday, (Kade's birthday) so we told Kade we would come back to visit Santa Claus.

Ohhh how exciting!! We are totally going to go this week while the weather is nice.
So just take used clothes and toys? That's great, we'll for sure do that!
