Happy 40th!

The Royal Alberta Museum was free this weekend in celebration of their 40th birthday, so of course, we went. It was a lot of fun, there were entertainers all over, live music, and lots of costumes (of course, not so much fun for the kids)

Outside waiting for Dad while he parked the van, he parked waaaaaay far away of course since it was busy.

I thought this was cool, the picture is bad, but its a man dressed in black with a huge dinosaur skull and legs, and really looked like a dinosaur skeleton walking around, very well done. Ask me how much the kids liked it (NOT!). The guy was nice enough to take off the skeleton and smile and ask them if they wanted to see into the skull and see how it was fake but Ivy gave him this disgusted look and turned away and Kade said no thanks in this quiet little voice....
And a few more pics...my camera is on its deathbed. It just needs to make it thru Christmas....I barely got any usable shots in the museum :( I think we have to cave and do some camera shopping in the new year....

And that's about it. We went over to a friends today for playdate, ran around getting the tire for Mike's car (which still isn't fixed and is at another Walmart entirely. Don't ask.) Preschool tomorrow....Oooooh the ETS lights tour with Amanda and Ev on Friday....THAT will be awesome! Don't expect many good pictures, but Kade will be soooo thrilled, and I admit I can't wait to have a nice evening with just him.
