Well, my boy is all done preschool and ready for kindergarten in the fall. I can't believe how fast this year went, how much fun he had and what a great experience his preschool was for him. His teacher was incredibly wonderful, the aide was fantastic as well, and going to preschool was the highlight of his week.
When I asked him who he would miss from his class and who he wanted his picture with so he could remember them, ( I actually meant the kids) he told me he wanted his picture taken with Ms Joan, which made my heart happy that his experience was so positive that she was the first person he thought of.
She did a wonderful slide show of the year in pictures, this was her first year of setting up the preschool and so it was hard not to tear up when she talked about how she wouldn't forget her very first class and how special they are to her, and thanking everyone for making it such a great year. Plus I just cry at the drop of a hat anyways, so it couldn't be helped. We also received a wonderful scrapbook with pictures of his fieldtrips and a class picture as a keepsake.
Surprisingly there were a lot of dads who came as well, including Kade's :)
And then some outside fun yesterday in the HOT HOT sun! And its pouring rain today!
