Saturday Stuff

After I got off work at one, we headed out to the Clifford E Lee bird sanctuary, and yes, tried out the spotting scope. There weren't as many birds as I thought there would be, it was eerie actually.

Ah Kade, my wilderness boy, he takes after his mom. He was SO excited because he found a little Saskatoon bush all on his own!

And Ivy who eats random berries...just kidding! The raspberries were EVERYWHERE, one place along the path was just red with berries, they had a heyday.


The path where you can see they just were hanging over it, we all ate a ton. Don't worry, there were SO many left for the invisible birds. I should have taken a picture, it was berries as far as you could see!

Ivy's newest pout, crossing her arms and giving us the frownage. However she cracked a smile when I took a pic of her on the way home.
And our ONE lonely raspberry in the backyard.
Kade stayed up later tonight and helped pick the snap peas....

..then proceeded to look like it was serious business eating them on the deck!
