More things from being stuck sick in the house this week......

..working on their little projects, Ivy now has a little box of her own as well to put her playdough creations in.
Kade's ocean project, which has lost the starfish and the duck/platypus (we're not sure what it was) to the little sister's crushing hands. Besides the destruction, its taking him a while to do since he's creating them all by himself with no help, so that takes a looong time. Today we learned about water snakes and then he made a mom and baby one.


My poor little sick girl, she's so darn ill today....

..but never too sick to make banana bread!


A pic from the other day of the newest member of the family. Yes, I have started my decoration shopping already, we have more lights to hang this year (Mike's job this weekend) and I found 5 plastic outside lighted figures secondhand that we are picking up this weekend! So excited! I LOVE the retro plastic decorations, there isn't much in the stores that I like for outside. Too tinny and not as cool. The drawback is that in order to appear sane to the rest of the neighborhood, the kids have to enjoy the reindeer inside and not outside yet, because their nagging just wears me down. I don't blame them, all the Christmas stuff is so much fun, but even mom waits till at least after Nov 11th.

So the reindeer will join the Bumble outside this year.
