Kade's First Sentence

Funny title but true. Kade has been working on his "popcorn" words at school, "I am love see you " were the ones last week, which he has actually known for a while. Today Mike came from the kitchen all excited and showed me this card which Kade wrote for his classmates. He wanted to say " I love you, I miss you ".

So he wrote"I love you" all by himself! Nothing to copy from, he sounded out what he wanted to write and remembered the words.


So I took a pic then he went to work on the rest. Then when he sounded out "I miss you" he wrote the first S in 'miss' backwards and totally burst into tears, my poor boy lol. Just wailed about it, that's the only term I can think of. Seriously, overtired from Servus place with Mike today and so frustrated and sad and cute.He had a hot bath and then was promptly tucked into bed!
