Only 15 weeks till May Long! Yes, the countdown is on. We started our Rudbeckia plants, they are one that takes 10-12 weeks before planting, and this year I bought peat pots so we can start everything earlier and grow them bigger!
My helper Kade, he couldn't wait to start!

Goofy girl.

Typical Ivy look!

first, I love your background! Where did you get it?
second, when should we start the little peat pellets? I have never used them before.

I love her work, its adorable!
And the peat pellets are good for the plants you start 6-8 weeks before May long, any more than that and I have problems with the roots really outgrowing the pellets...so um..around the middle/end of March is good for those. Just pick seeds that suggest starting 6-8 weeks before the last frost.
Thanks!
BTW I love how involved your kids are with the flowers and stuff. So fun!
