Plays and Playing Outside

We took Kadester to a play on November 1st, he has been begging to go to something forever. And I mean forever, every time something comes on the radio as a concert, play, affair at the symphony, he wants to go. He doesn't quite get why he can't go see Nine Inch Nails and the like in concert. He wants to go to it all, no matter what!

So when I saw that the Jungle Book was at the Citadel, I quickly bought tickets (second row in the middle, amazing seats!) and off we went.

Mike trying to convince Kade. Didn't work.

Waiting for the show to begin. It was an excellent play, not too scary for young children and lasted 60 minutes, the perfect amount of time for small attention spans.

Ivy spent that afternoon with Uncle Wyatt and Molly, and she was glad to see the dog. And Uncle Wyatt too, I suppose.

Here she is helping me get the remaining carrots out of the ground last week.

And helping me clean the flowerbeds out, pulling the gladiola bulbs up for me. I love her little gardening gloves, they are soo wee and so cute, and she loves to wear them, and be just like mom digging in the dirt!
