Well, in basically what is a reverse order of events this month so far:
Ivy and I met our friends at the science center and had a really good time, spur of the moment last Thursday. And those are usually the days that work out really well, the ones that just happen.
It was really great for Ivy to have her own play date with someone her age that she hasn't seen in a while, but of course, they took until the end of the time to warm up and start being goofs together.

Kade had a Hip Hop "seminar" (seriously can't think of another word) but it's basically having artists in residence again at his school for a week, they were taught some hip hop moves and performed at the end of the week. He did so well and had so much fun that now he wants to take hip hop.

Then a duo from the group performed a couple of segments and they were amazing to watch!

And of course, since she's home with me so much, pictures of Ivy.
This one is old, but so funny!

More to come soon! I have a small video of Kade's hip-hopping uploading at the moment, but it takes a while.
Then we headed downtown to see the Olympic torch pass through Edmonton. I think the kids favorite part was all the Coke merchandise!

Watching the festivities at city hall.
Sigh. Coke swag.
