Kade's Art at the Sprouts Festival

Thursday when I picked up Kade from school, his teacher handed out passes to the Sprout Festival, held in our downtown library theatre, and told me that his class's artwork was being featured there.

Kade was so excited and so proud, not only to go and join in the fun activities, but to find where they hung his painting.

His is the blue one that he is standing directly under. I don't think he could be any prouder! That is pretty exciting for a little boy, going and seeing your art on display at the library theatre!

It is a really pretty painting, you can't see it but he used gold glitter paint which made it sparkly in places.
One of the display walls that had his art.

Before the plays they had crafts, storytelling (which was excellent and the kids participated in the story) facepainting and a "music garden" full of instruments.

Ivy wanted a flower on her arm.

Kade wanted balloons.

The stage before the show. We only saw two out of the four plays because a certain 4 year old has no attention span. The first was good, the second was EXCELLENT, funny and entertaining for the kids.

We then went upstairs, browsed the library and took out some books and called it a day.
