Happy Canada Day!

After I worked a morning shift, we all went out to Borden Park to the celebration that was held there. Except we got volunteer treatment, which meant pizza that the kids happily scarfed back and then we left Dad to do his volunteer work.

The kids got balloon animals...

Suckers and tattoos....

Snow cones, which Ivy was brave enough to take her toonie all by herself, pay and ask for a red one. I was very proud of her, that is a big step in her world.

And it was worth it!

Then we say and watched the music on stage.

Then we hit the playground waiting for Mike to help finish cleaning up.

Ivy can pump a swing now, and is so excited that she can swing right beside her big brother.

Hope everyone had a great day too!

I love the picture of Ivy on the swing all by herself. Her face is pure joy!
