Our Week in Calgary: The Zoo!

Tuesday we headed out to the zoo, a yearly journey for us to check out what's new. It is as gorgeous as always and the kids had so much fun with Deklen, Violet and Ruby.

They got to learn about and touch a tortoise, very cool indeed!



And this gorilla came right up to the glass to say hi, scratching his belly and watching them, the kids of course, thought this was hilarious.



All five of my favorite kids in one place and looking up at the cameras, a miracle!


The hippos were just being fed and for the first time ever we got to see them out of the water.
