They weren't quite awake in the picture below, they got to bed late and it's going to take a while to get back into our routine, that's for sure.
They woke up a little bit more when we went outside for pictures.

So cute and so little still.
Ivy did well this morning, she sat and listened to a story, then came over, hugged me goodbye and said "you can go now mommy".
I sat and chatted outside the class with some other moms and saw her taking her tour of the school,learning about the rooms and the gym and where everything was.
Kade settled into his class no problem and was very happy to be sitting beside one of his buddies from last year.
He was front row and center for circle time too.
Ivy and I are going to eat lunch with Kade today and stay for the lunch recess a while, then I am sure my little girl is going to be super tired after a big morning! Kade will surely be exhausted after a full day at school too.
