After boating on the lake, we went to the beach area where our friends Amanda, Everen and her family were being beach bunnies for the day. We LOVED this beach. Soft sand, a playground right on the beach basically, nice shallow water and a hot day! It was perfect.
Here's Kade taking a dip
Then he and Mommy played in the sand...

Hugs from Brodie..so cute,
Mmmm bush pie for the first time ever and we are addicted! Melissa and Brett introduced us to camping treat extraordinaire! You put white trash buttered bread into a fire sandwhich maker and pie filling inbetween and toast it up. YUM!
And here's Kade at the end of the second night where he partied in the tent trailer by himself Melissa asked if he was doing gymnastics in there. All you could see thru the screen were feet in the air waving, arms flailing,,,, then I settled Ivy again and gave him his book. He fell asleep like this while I was feeding Ivy. So cute.
And that's it! We can't wait till our next trip!

bush pies, eh? we call those pudgie pies! no idea where that came from, but when we were introduced to them way back when we were kids, the family that introduced us called them pudgie pies! we also started using them for lunch, making sandwiches with deli meat, cheese, mustard, or whatever you wanted. pb & j would work too! mmmmmmmmmm........
Oh, pudgy pies makes sense too, if you eat too many of them you're sure to put on pudge! They are tooo good!
lol and Sean's family calls them mountain pies! Apparently everyone has a different name for them. Looks like a ton of fun, we are so excited to go this weekend.
