Charlotte and The Car

Our pal Becky was thoughtful enough to get us tickets and invite us to a puppet performance of Charlotte's Web this afternoon, so we met her down at the library.

Ok, Whitemud Crossing Library is FAN-tastic. We loooved it and had a blast there. They have such a great kids area, filled with bead toys, tables, coloring, crayons, tons of computers, a cd listening area, and books books books! And it was SO quiet today!

It's worth the drive to Acton. (and if you understand that, comment below ;) Seriously, its worth the drive if you want to do a full library experience.

The awesome stuffed ride 'em dragon on the floor, Kade and Tyson were so good at taking turns "driving" him.

The cd listening station, very cool that they can each have a set of headphones.

Kade was totally into it, he concentrated really hard. HA Becky, I totally just remembered it was a FRENCH cd! We didn't change it, did we? LOL no wonder he was concentrating so hard, he had no clue what they were saying! Hahahahaha.....!
In the theatre..

They managed to watch 1/2 hour of the show, which was fine by me. I wasn't sure what I was doing to do about the whole Charlotte dying part, I figured I would just distract him LOL. Faint in the aisle....something.... So thankfully they had both had enough after 30 minutes and we went back out to our gong show. Ah, Kade had definitely had enough of the library and was running around like a wild child. It was insane....lost library card....finding library card....Kade running around like the place was a gym... sigh. Libraries are for quick, quiet trips....

AND our new car, yay for second vehicles! However, the brakes definitely need to be fixed, so its going to sit for a bit LOL! But we knew that when we bought it. Only we would buy a car to look at it parked in front of the house.... anyhow its a '95 Ford Contour, 140.000 Km and in good shape. And its alllll Mike's. The wonder wagon is allllll MINE!

So yah, hey, Mom and Dad, if you're checking the blog while you're in the States, we bought a new car BTW. And yes, Trevor looked it over for us. (I knew that question was coming)
