Puppet Mania

So a mom from the parenting website that I am on offered us a puppet theatre that her daughter was done with. Or should I say, her daughter kindly gave us the theatre! Thanks so much to Kathy and her daughter, Kade loooves it!

We spent today making different puppets for it, we knew that Mike was picking it up and Kade was very excited.

We made a caterpillar out of an egg carton, and darned if he didn't spend the day carrying it around.

And then the theatre arrived! We were excited to see dad, of course, but the theatre took the spotlight!

Finally, Worm, the caterpillar (oh Kade makes us laugh) had his theatre debut!~
We also took some of the wallies left from decorating his room, and he now has a firetruck, a dumptruck, a train and a plane on sticks as puppets as well.


And here's Princess Ivy trying to stand. She's so close. I really need to glue her pants to the floor.

So I am sure that the next, oh, forever, will be spent making our own puppets and having shows. So much fun! Kathy also gave us a huge wardrobe box from when they moved, so we will have so much fun makng it into a playhouse...or whatever Kade decides he wants!
