Sooo, she's already left this morning in Mike's car, and we'll pick it up next weekend. We are so very spoiled to have a Ford mechanic in the family!

Doesn't he look happy?

So while Auntie and Dad were fiddling around with the car, Kade enjoyed the grass in the backyard for the first time. We played some soccer, he was so excited to be back there!
Its pretty well rooted now, there are some brown seams and spots, but Kade was ever so glad to help mom take the sprayer to them.
Then since it was smoking hot we went to the front so Kade could ride his bike.
We took all the caterpillars off the dogwood bushes and put them on the steps. Kade was thrilled with them. We found 9!! of them, so we watched them race each other, and today we will see if they found their way back to the bushes. And then I need to decide what to do with them as they are eating all the leaves and turn into disgusting moths which terrify me. But I have to wait for Kade to forget about them....or maybe just leave one there he can watch...blech.
Uncle Wyatt spent the day with us since Karami was down. Look, Ivy liked him today! She actually didn't cry when he held her.
And we popped over to Wyatt's house so Karami could take a look at it. They have the porch on now, looks good!
Today we are resting and recuperating. Kade has a really bad cold, everyone is going for a nap right now, including me. Then we have to get a few groceries and back home we'll come to rest up some more so no one else gets sick in the house.

Yucky caterpillars...on the other hand, your camera sure has nice focus!
LOL I accidently erased B's comment that she thinks the fuzzy caterpillars are cute, B, do you want them haha! I HATE MOTHS!
I don't mind them in the fuzzy wuzzy stage, but on my garden girl blog I posted a picture of the gross moth they turn into. *shudder*
hey thanks for erasing my comment ;p
i do think they are cute, and i thought about bringing a jar over there to get a some for the girls, but i remember the guest speaker at kaeli's school last year talked about leaving them on whatever plants they are on because that's probably the specific plant that they eat, you can't just feed them any kind of plant.
