Rainy Day Crafts

Today was a rainy and chilly day around these parts, so those are usually the best for crafts. Uncle Wyatt stayed home with Ivy while she napped, and Kade and mom went out to shop for craft supplies.

Kade had a blast! He spent the whole afternoon after his nap making various crafts. He's concentrating so hard on making them, I was very impressed that he did it all by himself.

So here he is making his caterpillar, poking the pipecleaner thru..


Then decorating him... Voila! Three-eyed caterpillar extraodinaire!

I did most of this one, but as you can see Kade did the eyes. (no really, he did...) Kade LOVED the little egg carton spider, these are going to be a hit for Halloween, so easy that Kade can make them and so cute.
And Kade's mask that we haven't put on a stick yet, he thought this was pretty darn cool as well. I loved this pic, his big brown eyes peeking thru... And here's Ivy in her fall jammies...brr its getting chilly out. Doesn't she look so sweet and innocent? That was yesterday.



Its now 12 at night, I am blogging because she is sitting on the carpet and playing. Take a peek below, there she is at 12:05 in the morning....YUP. La la la, we are awake and she is partying.. not so cute when its the witching hour, is she??!!!

Ach, she must be getting teeth. Kade used to do this, he wouldn't be fussy, he would just be wiiiiide awake. However, I have him to get up with tomorrow morning. OMG tomorrow is going to suck.
