The Last Week

Let's see....

Last week was busy but I can't remember most of it LOL! I know that we took a huge walk with Amanda to the Strathcona Science park, which happens to be totally deserted. So it was really creepy. They are turning it into something else, but the buildings were boarded up and there wasn't an animal in sight. So while there eating our snack, a warning siren went off . Anyone ever played/watched Silent Hill? Freaky ghost town that turns into burning hell basically when a siren goes off? Freaky. Mike's watched the movie and he agreed with me that it was totally spooky !

I know we also went to the museum and bought our pass on Friday, it was a lot of fun. Its always SO quiet and Kade can roam freely and touch everything and have a great time. I also was brave and touched a rhinoceros beetle, very cool. However, you couldn't pay me to touch the other freaky things they had out, they were "culling" the herds so to say. I'd feel sorry for the bugs but eeeew they were gross.

This is a rhino beetle....pretty brave of moi if I do say so myself. Did you know they spend 3 years as a grub, and only live for 9 months in this shape? We had Mr bug-man telling us about him, very cool. I can't remember what else we did, I know there's more....baby brain has set in.

Then everyone was here on the weekend for Thanksgiving and it was a really good time. I have almost no pictures tho, my camera is so screwed.

Nana bought Kade his new vest and he's wearing it everywhere, he loooooves it. We're getting a lot of use out of it already on our walks and playing outside. I LOVE fall! I love chilly walks and fall clothes!





The only picture that turned out from Millenium Place. It was a really nice indoor playground, but um..."high energy" is what Amanda called it and it fits. Not many kids but I was stressed quite a bit with some of the kids that were there, kinda more rough and tough than we are used to. Ivy spent almost the entire time sleeping on Amanda, lucky kid. Cuddled right up on her and went to sleep, funny girl. She just can't get that second tooth through, poor baby, its wearing her out.

Going to go and try to see what's up with the camera....busy fun week/weekend ahead and I need it!
