Tired

I'm tired, what a long day. I was up at 6 with Mike, and getting ready for our adventure out by Stony Plain at Chickakoo Lake. It was a really nice area, we should have gone in the summer, or even a few weeks ago when the leaves were at their finest. But nope, we go when its foggy and eerie and dismal!

But it was a gorgeous place to walk. And they have some really good, fun trails, I was impressed. My legs weren't so impressed with the hills tho. Pushing 60 + lbs of kids up hills in a stroller....everytime Amanda and I get together we end up picking a difficult trail to do, and it was only intermediate. I can't even imagine what the advanced are like...

Then tonight we went all the way south to get my haircut, only to have them tell me the guy who was cutting my hair went home with a migraine. Fine. Then they tell me that no, my appointment is tomorrow. I reply with "that would have been kinda hard for me to do, considering I am in Calgary tomorrow, don't you think?" So they can't fit me or Kade in, Kade wants a haircut, I want a damn haircut, and they're stupid. Oh, and the place is Chatters in South Ed common. Grrr. There were seriously about 5 women standing behind the counter looking at me, twirling their hair and telling me there's no one to cut hair. WHATEVER you useless.. *insert expletive here*

So I have a crying 2 year old, and I am ticked that I drove literally across Edmonton to the land of useless. So Mike saves the day and calls SpaSation and gets us a 6:45 appointment. So we go. Kade's turn is up, we go to the chair, he sits in it, he freaks. Literally. Wanted NOTHING to do with it. OMFG. Seriously. After all those tears about wanting a freaking haircut!

SO I got mine done and left bi-polar son with Mike.

Tomorrow is the scarecrow festival with Becky and kids, and that should be way too much fun.

I can't wait for brunch on Sunday at the Calgary Zoo with everyone.......I am so looking forward to it.....

Off to take Tylenol for my pounding headache and my aching legs.

EDITED TO ADD: Oh, and Kade's just going to have girly long hair, so no more harassing me about cutting it EVER. You know who you are....hair harassers..... :)

Ah, I'm so disappointed you didn't get your haircut. They didn't bother to call you to inform you that he had gone home? That's really unprofessional and I would've been irked too.
Have you thought about taking Kade to Beaners? Tyson loves it there.
