So today, since when we got up this morning, it was -30 , and -40 with the windchill !!!! I decided it was the perfect Christmas pudding day since its a 6 hour commitment. And since we are definitely a non-sexist family, it falls upon Kade, the eldest child, to learn how to make it. So here's his first year at it!

And its tradition for Kade to eat those candied cherries as well...my family will remember the video from last year... he helped me make shortbread by eating the cherries off as soon as I put them on...
And the video from last Christmas..Right before the 5 hour steaming process, notice the chipmunk cheeks full of those cherries? I think the pudding might be a few short this year....
Then we did some painting, a little dinosaur figurine. I have a few more hidden away, glad I stocked up on them for winter days.

Then this was the kids earlier, Ivy thought this was the funniest thing ever! She went to go over him and plunked right on him.

I love the chipmunk cheeks. Tyson loves his dinosaur. He painted it the day we got home and plays with it all of the time now.
