And of course there was no such thing as a solo picture today, Kade doesn't miss an opportunity to hug and pose with Ivy, so here's some of them in their new sweaters that Nana made for them.

So Nana and Papa were in town today and we met them at the mall very briefly. Mike and Kade spent two hours at the walk-in clinic, but good thing they did. Kade now has an ear infection to go with his three week cold, he got progressively worse the last 3 days and after 72 hours of worsening (is that a word??) symptoms they are supposed to go in for antibiotics so away we went. Poor kiddo, he was so glad to get out of the house but he was SO upset at the doctors, he did NOT want the doctor near his ears to take a peek, poor baby. He's such a trooper, you would never guess he's so darn sick, still smiling and being my Kade.
We managed to take the kids on a couple rides, to do something fun for Ivy's big day. She enjoyed the train ride, so much to see.
After the mall we headed over to Uncle wyatt's for chinese take-out and was it ever delish! It helped that Mike and I missed lunch, that whole sitting in the dr's office thing, but i think it was pretty good food anyways. So we had a nice dinner there, chatted, Kade napped in the spare room for an hour and a half and woke up just in time to eat. Ivy wandered around trying to get at the stairs that we blocked off, who does she get that stubborn streak from?? Can't be mom.
Uncle wyatt and the puppet. I had a good laugh tho, the puppet and he have very similar hairstyles...
Then on the way home Ivy slept and we stopped off at the Christmas house because Kade wanted to take a look, he asked us when we were leaving Wyatt's for some odd reason. Ivy crashed without any birthday singing and watching us eat her cake LOL so tomorrow I will take some pics of the cake that my mom made for her and post those.
