On the 27th Jen was kind enough to have everyone over for a little soiree and even tho my two were little grumps we had a really good time. I do, however, totally agree with the idea that we are getting a babysitter next year and the adults are going out for a nice evening and the adult are doing the gift exchange as well...
...even tho it was darn cute to watch these two get all girlied up...are we born with it? The notion to primp?

I did my first shift back at work today and thankfully I still have a head full of grey matter after two kids and did better than I thought I would. I am really tired tho and forgot how the lights give me headaches, time to wear a cap.

Princess Ivy turns 1 tomorrow....Nana and Papa are in town, Nana has made the cake and I think we are all having dinner together to celebrate. I can't believe that a ) I am back working part time and b) my baby girl is going to be one already. Kade is going to be thrilled because birthdays mean cake!
