Happy Halloween! We just had the warmest Halloween I can remember. I was wishing I had known, it would have been perfect for an outdoor bonfire party in the backyard...just perfect spooky slightly chilled weather.
The kids received their Halloween cards from Nana and Papa about an hour before we went out, Kade was SO thrilled! He loves receving mail, and Ivy had a good time as well, opening her card. Thanks again!
And pics from trick or treating... Melissa and family joined us again, and Ivy and Cooper lasted about 20 minutes, then the men took them back to our place while Melissa and I took Kade and Brodie out for a while longer. Of course we had to see the super spooky house that goes alll out every year. This year was no exception, there were three people waiting to scare. Kade saw the one scare someone and that was ALL he could talk about, how the guy hanging there (and really, this guy was "hanging" from a noose, feet dangling and all, musta had a harness on) reached out and grabbed someone LOL! The pic is of the guy waiting in the chair to scare people...there is usually someone in the coffin to the left...and then near the sidewalk there's gallows with the hanging guy, they go allll out.
This lasted as long as a mini Areo bar. Then Ivy screamed to be let out.
Wiggly bum kids. This was my best picture, maybe M got a better one.... I have none of Ivy sitting still except this. Look at that green grass!! Compared to the snow last year...crazy. We soon took the mitts off as well, they needed barely anything, it was awesome.
Ivy got two suckers and was carrying them around showing people at the door "my suckers!"
The big haul...lucky mom and dad! LOL!
