This Week

Kade has been fighting off something this whole week, and at least he picked a good week to do it. I can't believe how cold its been! He's been feverish and really tired the past few days, still fairly chipper and happy, but obviously fighting some virus off. Finally yesterday tho, we had ALL had enough of being insise the house, and went to the museum. We literally had the bottom floor to ourselves, and there were a few school groups upstairs. It was sooo lovely after all the time we spent in the house. The kids were so excited to be out and doing something different. After about an hour and a half, Kade told me he wanted to go home and nap, and he actually fell asleep in the car, then happily curled up in bed again and napped for another hour.

Ivy fell in love with this microscope, and once I showed her what to do, she was off and running! She sat and played with it (and properly, I might add) while Kade and I did some puzzles we found and played on the computers.I think she loved that the scope was so big that she just could look right into it, instead of a small eyescope type.
And then a pic of her hair from today, it was just very Punky Brewster cute.
I think this weekend will be spent relaxing yet getting out of the house somehow.Kade missed preschool because I just can't send him with a fever, no matter how much we both wanted him to go LOL. So we need to do something out of the house not too strenuous, I will have to think on that....we are quite tired of the inside of our house.
