As always, we had an amazing time at my favorite festival of all, The Heritage Festival. Besides al;l the fantastic food to try, there is always SO much for the kids to do and enjoy for the day. We were among the first to arrive at about 9:30 (1/2 hour before it even opened) and it was so quite for the first 2 hours, we had hardly any lineups for facepainting, crafts, bouncy tents and of course, the foooood! We also watched about 6 or 7 performances throughout the day as well.

Chocolate covered frozen banana, which was a HIT!

See? No one painting this huge mural except my kids, we are going this early again next year, it was worth it!

We walked right up and the kids sat down for face painting, Kade hasn't wanted it done in years, and this year finally wanted to!

Ivy was so excited to be turned into a kitty, and she was so patient while she had her face painted.
