So Kade had a few things on his desk, a list of what to show us, games to show us about the "power of ten" and his project that was interviewing his grandparents.

Kade and his best friend Hannah showing us what they do on laptops. LAPTOPS in grade one! Soon my son is going to be more internet saavy than we are!

Aaaand of course, Ivy had to get right in there too!

A cute little journal entry that I found, he wrote it on the 12th. Aww.

Using the huge electronic whiteboard to look at the Ukraine (family history) and then we found our house on google maps too. He was pretty thrilled to see his house up there on the big screen.

Writing in his dream journal, he and his buddy at Virginia Park write back and forth and draw pictures in the same book.

He had a big project about magnetism this past week, and had to design a maze for a mouse and use a magnet to move it through.
He did such a great job, with his dead ends with "monsters" and the cheese at the end!!

Seriously one cute mouse!

Then as usual, after every school event, we headed out to the New Asian Village for the buffet.

Ivy ate naan and cantalope. Good thing they never charge us for her!

Wow
I can't believe how big he's getting, I remember when ... "snif""snif",oh never mind.
Tell him Auntie was really impressed with his printing, he's doing an awesome job. It looks like he's going to a pretty amazing school!
I enjoyed the idea of student led conferences, however Kaeli and were both exhausted while doing hers we probably looked like zombies wandering the halls. Those smart boards are pretty fantastic. Love the technology.
It's Ukraine, not the Ukraine (I seriously had a classmate at NAIT freak out on people for saying THE Ukraine). ;)
Awwww, what fun to see how kade is progressing so well. Love the maze and the mouse!
