Valentine Parties

The pictures are completely in reverse but it just makes it funnier.

This would be Ivy at the end of the day at home after two parties and copious amounts of candy and junk food. I turn my back and she's into TWO suckers. At the same time.

Kade was pretty happy to get a chance to look through his Valentine's at the end of the day as well. He had an Olympic assembly where they had a couple presentations, some singing and dancing, then followed by a class party that both Ivy and I attended.

Just...completely....spun.

At the classroom party, Ivy pulled up a chair with big brother and had a blast! One of Kade's little friends gave her a Valentine (meant for Kade) since she felt bad that Ivy didn't have any. And of course, it was one with candy attached. Sigh.

Early we went to Ivy's preschool party which was a delight as usual.

Ivy and her favorite boy Luca. These two, so cute yet TOTAL TROUBLE together. I say that lovingly as a mother. They are just little troublemakers together. Partners in crime. Those who run away from mom when she has them on a field trip. Wild party animals.

And this was first thing this morning, Ivy all excited for her party.

Kade holding the present for his Valentine at school, his best friend Hannah. SO adorable! She was so excited when he gave it to her this morning, he got a big hug and she was so happy. And my boy got his first Valentine kiss on the cheek from her after school today as well, which was just the cutest thing to see ever. And so it starts, they are inseparable.
