Ivy's Fort Edmonton Fieldtrip

Friday was Ivy's last fieldtrip with her preschool, and we went to Fort Edmonton for it. It was chilly and drizzly but actually much better than being too hot. We had a great day together!

Here she is waiting for the trolley to come and take her and her class.

There wasn't enough room for all the parents, so she went by herself and I walked. She was very brave, but when we got there she said "ok mommy that's it, now you stay with me."

They made ice cream....

...lemonade....

played with her best bud in the mud with sticks...

..and ate what they made!

These two, double trouble!

After the "class" part was over, we went with Luca and his dad to the carousel with our free time afterwards, and as you can tell, she was pretty excited to be on that horse.

And loved the real life horses as well.

Then after everyone was gone (we drove ourselves there instead of taking the bus) her and I wandered around, had ice cream and had a good mom and Ivy afternoon.

On the way home she was so exhausted, she asked me "mommy, can I sleep?" and I said yes. Not two minutes later, this is how I found her:

Good thing she napped since she had soccer that night, which is the next post!
